Two of the most important components of our One JBT operating principles are Integrity and Accountability. First, it is critical to our success as a team for each one of us to conduct JBT business with integrity at all times. This means doing business ethically and never surrendering to the temptation to violate laws or JBT's policies to get something done. I also expect you to ensure that all other people who are engaged to conduct business on JBT’s behalf are held to the same standards. Second, each one of us should expect to be held accountable for their actions. This means we admit our mistakes and accept the consequences, and we hold all of our fellow employees, and others we engage to support our business, to the same standard.
If you observe anyone violating a law or our policies while working for JBT, it is your obligation as an employee to report it. You can make a report of misconduct to your manager, a company HR representative, a company lawyer or to a member of JBT's senior management team. If you feel uncomfortable making a report to any of these persons, the JBT Hotline is also available to you. You can make a report to the JBT Hotline at any time, from anywhere, and you can choose to remain anonymous.
I want to personally assure you that your choice to remain anonymous will be respected, and you will be protected from any retaliation for making a report, whenever you make a report in good faith to the JBT Hotline. Remember, each one of you represents JBT, and together we are One JBT.
